Cortical was founded on a simple belief: organizations perform better when their people, teams, and leaders are equipped to succeed. After decades of leading organizations, developing leaders, and navigating complex change, we've seen firsthand how much the way people think, make decisions, and work together influences business results.
That experience, combined with a curiosity about the science behind human behaviour and performance, shaped Cortical's approach. We bring practical business experience together with insights from neuroscience and behavioural science to help organizations strengthen performance, navigate change, and prepare for what's next.

Our Founder & CEO
Tammy Arseneau brings more than 30 years of experience in executive leadership, organizational effectiveness, talent, and change. Before founding Cortical, she held senior leadership roles at Suncor Energy, including Vice President, Culture & Talent, and has worked across Canada and internationally.
Her experience leading through organizational complexity and a deep personal experience, sparked a deeper interest in how people think, make decisions, and perform.
Today, she works with executives and leadership teams to strengthen leadership capability, improve organizational and team effectiveness, and navigate growth and change.
